The people of Palestine lack medical attention, and they are longing for someone who would be providing them with free medical check-ups and healthcare. Their prayers were answered after Dr. Saad Saad, who is a Palestinian doctor performing in the United States, visited the region of East Jerusalem and the West Bank to perform medical missions, along with his colleagues who are from the United States. Dr. Saad Saad stated that his mentor encouraged him to serve his people for free, providing them with the healthcare and the medical attention that they deserve. During their medical mission in East Jerusalem and the West Bank, the doctors noticed that a lot of the people need immediate medical assistance because of their body conditions. Dr. Saad Saad provided the people with surgeries, using the techniques that he learned from the United States. After their medical mission, the people thanked his team for their assistance. Dr. Saad Saad stated that it is indeed a great feeling every time they extend their hands to help other people.
Dr. Saad Saad came to the United States after he passed the examinations in Lebanon. He was given a license to live and work in the United States, and when he first stepped in the new world, what he did was to enrich his knowledge about medicine. He also applied at a local medical center, where he would meet some of his colleagues who would, later on, become his closest friends and mentors. Knowing that he should be expanding his knowledge about medicine while in the United States, he decided to enroll himself at a course that would provide him with the knowledge that he needs in performing pediatric and general surgery. The course lasted for several months, and when he finished it, he was given with new certificates that would allow him to perform surgeries.
Aside from being a responsible professional, Dr. Saad Saad would also be inventing two new devices while he is in the United States. The devices that he patented are the Methods and Apparatus for Providing Suction and Irrigation in a Rigid Endoscope While Maintaining Visual Contact with a Target Area through the Endoscope and the Catheter with Integral Electromagnetic Location Identification Device, assigned with patent numbers 5,725,478 and 5,727,553, respectively. These devices are created to make surgeries safer and easier, and Dr. Saad Saad stated that he is looking forward to seeing the doctors of the future using his inventions. Aside from his medical inventions, Dr. Saad Saad is also credited with introducing techniques, methods, and procedures that make surgeries safer for the patient. He has contributed a lot in the field of medicine, and he stated that he would continue being a role model for other doctors.
